5. The Avengers: The Avengers released in 2012 is an American superhero movie written and directed by Joss Whedon. This is the 6th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the first superhero assemble movie bringing in all the major characters shown in live action movies. This movie basically set the bar for future superhero assemble movies. The movie does a great job showcasing every Avenger and foreshadowing future projects.  

            In this movie Loky, an arguardian god and Thor's brother tries to invade the earth by summoning a giant chidori army through a wormhole. S.H.I.E.L.D tries to stop Loky by gathering all the super powered individuals. The Avengers made over $1.5 billion with a budget of $220 million. 




4. Avengers: Infinity War: Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Infinity War (2018) is arguably the best movie produced by Marvel so far. Although many might not agree on this, most fans say that this movie is their favourite Marvel movie. This movie is the sequel to the 2015 movie Avengers: Age Ultron and does the job for setting the future films and introducing the audience to the main antagonist, Thanos, a mad Titan who is considered to be the mightiest being in the universe. 


           This movie made over $2 billion with a massive budget of $400 million from which a huge portion was given to the actors, directors and visual art studio. 




3. Avengers: Endgame: Released in 2019 and produced by Marvel Studios, this film the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The movie was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. 


           This movie continues the story of the previous film, where Thanos (the antagonist) killed half of the population of the entire universe. The Avengers plan to fix everything by travelling back in time. This movie was a huge success and got praised by everyone and made over $2.7 billion. This ended the Multiverse Saga and with a of $400 million, this movie is considered as one of the best superhero movies ever. 




2. Avatar: Avatar (James Cameron's Avatar) is a 2009 epic science fiction film. Directed, written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron this movie is considered to be a visual masterpiece by many people even outside of the film industry. The budget for this movie was $237 million U.S. dollars with an extra $9 million dollars for its re-release and it made over $2.9 billion which made it the first film to gross over $2 billion dollars. 


           Although delayed for several years, the wait was worth it as this movie still looks spectacular and has a cinematography so high that even morden shows with better technology suffer to compete with.

Directed by Joss Whedon, the budget for this movie was $490 million dollars and made over $1.4 billion dollars worldwide.
