 In today's standards mobile phones weigh around 200ish grams but the first mobile phone weighed 2.5 lbs. Imagine that phone falling on your face.  In all of the ads, iPhones are always set to 9:41.  Although many might think that Google created Android, Google actually bought Android in 2005 for an estimated amount of $50 million.  The word ' iPhone ' actually belonged to Cisco, after a long period of negotiating the term was finally settled.  Nomofobia, the term is a combination of the phrase ' no mobile phobia ' and exactly what it sounds like. The fear of being without your phone and unfortunately we all can agree with this situation.  The IBM Simon was the first phone to feature a touchscreen.  There are around 3.8 billion smartphone users worldwide (2021).
