The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is amazing

The beta for the new Call of Duty ® Modern Warfare 2 has been released just a few days ago. People are all hyped and players who are given the chance to play the beta are all over it because we are only given 1 or 2 games from the famous Call of Duty franchise each year. 



Activision announced the game back on 8th of June,2022 with a quote that suggests " a new era for Call of Duty ® begins on october 28." They claimed it will be an involved special Ops experience. 



First of all slide cancelling is completely removed from the game so you can't move around the map like a rampaging monkey and it will contribute a huge role in the overall gameplay. A new mechanic called 'dolphin dive' is added to the game and as the name suggests you can dive through small obstacles, windows rather than climbing them but it has a slight delay while shooting also running and shooting has a delay too. The FOV(field of view) can go upto 120 which is again a pretty neat feature and might affect the experience in a good way. Which gives hope for Warzone as well. The mounting and moving at the same time was a feature that was introduced in Call of Duty: Vanguard and then made its way to Warzone and it was a nice feature to have. But unfortunately the moving while mounted is gone in the new game,well you can still mount like previous games but as soon as you start moving the game will take you off from mount. 



The gameplay is slightly improved from the previous games and feels more polished and well put together. But it follows the same platform as MW(2019) which is not a bad thing to be honest as the MW(2019) gunplay was quite immersing. The gun guns fell heavy but not too heavy that it will feel unusable. Surprisingly vibrant as compared to their other instalments. The maps are not the most colourful like Valorant or Apex but it feels good to see some colours in a game which is known to be pretty much brown,black and white. While we are on the maps,new game-modes and maps will be added to the final version. Although there are not many as it is a beta at the end of the day,there are some maps:

  • Grand prix
  • Mercado Las Alamas
  • Valderas Museum
  • Sarrif Bay(battle map)
  • So'id(battle map)

Sleep paralysis and the science behind it.

It's the middle of the night and you are having a nice sleep after a long, exhausting day and suddenly you feel a heavy weight on your chest, you can't move your hands or your legs. You open your eyes and see a ghostly figure sitting on your chest or standing beside you, you try to call for help but you can't move your mouth either.
